What are the best stockings or panty hose or tights to where with a red dress for New Year’s?

I have a beautiful strapless red silk dress to wear for New Year’s Eve this year, but I am not sure what kind of stockings or panty hose or tights to where with it. I have strappy black heels that I was planning on wearing, unless someone has a better suggestion for shoes too. Thanks.

    tights would be better
    they look much better on a girls legs – there more sexy too!
