I think it has been etched with a laser into our minds that the after thanksgiving sales are the best ones of the year so we have to go shopping then.

2009 is going to be a bit different as stores are already offering lots of deals. Sears are doing “black Friday” prices every Friday until the big day so you can get some of your shopping done early.

My way to do the shopping is to buy online, i may wait for cyber Monday this year, so I don’t even have to leave home to get all the stuff we want.

I am looking for a nintendo wii for my kids for xmas and have bookmarked this page hoping they will let me know when the specials are announced.

    Try my method: stay home!

The best way is to shop online. If that is not an option, you can hit the pre-Thanksgiving sales, shop in the afternoon on Thanksgiving day or try in the afternoon of Black Friday instead of early morning.
