What do you think of people who contact you out of the blue to say happy Chinese new year?
I think they must want something, like free English lessons or they are so lonely, or they are in a great mood or something. People are strange. I mean, I met this person ONCE in 2004, she is on my webpage “friends” list, and she never speaks to me or meets me until now…Happy New Year??? Why are you speaking to me?

Because it’s a special event in China! It’s kinda like Christmas over there for them. And in America, practically EVERYONE wishes others a merry christmas, including strangers. It’s not because your special or anything.

And thats pretty rude. .. I mean, free English lessons?! What? You must be either in middle school, or pretty immature.
