Should the Lunar New Year be a national holiday in the US?
Is well over a billion Chinese, Koreans, Mongolians, Nepalese, Bhutanese, and Vietnamese celebrating it worldwide not important enough? We have the Jewish new year off.

Personally, YES. and that’s exactly the point. EVERYONE gets their new year off besides the Chinese, and it isn’t only China (as you stated)! it is oriental Asia who celebrates it!!!! that’s PLENTY of people and there are immigrants from those places (like our family) who want to be able to celebrate this holiday day with their families but they can not because… The US doesn’t care enough about “us” to give us this day as a holiday. Geez.
