How should you decorating your home between Christmas/New Year and Spring?

Why is it the rest of the year is so easy to decorate your home seasonally – but every year after Christmas/New Year I’m left scratching my head wondering “how do I decoarte, now?” It’s too early for Spring, I don’t want to leave my Christmas stuff up….any ideas?

I like to keep up the “winter” decorations… snowmen, mostly, until Valentine’s Day, then I decorate for that. A few hearts here and there. After Valentine’s Day I’ll do a little St. Patrick’s day, then it’s spring! Yay!
