I always start with the two most difficult to buy for and yes the economy did have an influence on my purchases. Nothing frivolous this year. My theme for gifts is “practical”! I am making sure that they need what I am getting them and that it won’t end up stuck in a closet or drawer somewhere!

I have already started shopping. I have a few things. Not nearly enough but I had to order my oldest child’s big gift because it is a pre-order for an item that will sell out. I also ordered a few other things online because I had the money at the time. We NEVER credit card Christmas, so when the cash is available, I go for it! I will be ordering another big gift this weekend for our daughter.
