How long are the New York City Christmas decorations up?
I’m planning on going to New York City to see the sights with my girlfriend, we were originally planning to go the 27 but then I thought about how crowded it will be before New Years. So now I’m wondering if it would be better to go a couple days after New Years, but will the Christmas decorations still be up?

I suggest you call NYC’s tourism board at 212/484-1200 and ask them. You might also call some of the big department stores like Macy’s and Saks 5th Avenue and ask them how long their holiday windows will be up.

If you go very, very, early January, like January 2, they will still be up. Saw some info on Christmas, good buys on Christmas outings, restaurants, food, etc. at http://www.nyc-visitor-discounts.com. Have a good trip.
