Christmas gift ideas for my 2 and a half year old daughter?
I want some great christmas gift ideas for my daughter. I missed last christmas with her so this year I wanna make it extra special. She likes Dora, wonder pets, barbies and mermaids. I want good play kitchen sets too so please help me and add links where possible. Thanks.

A suggestion:
You missed last year so tell her you want to have a double christmas with her this year. Get her the doll or the kitchen or whatever else. But then make the other part of christmas an activity that you do with her. Like a trip to a petting zoo or a trip to a mall to get a photo shoot with just you and her. Or you and her paint a small mural on a wall in the basement. etc. Give her the second christmas with you.
Have fun, Peter

Every year since my son was 2 and a half(his birthday is in july) I take him, and now my dd to toys R us to look around and make a list for santa. They go in knowing we arent buying anything…just making a list so when we get home we can write wish letters to santa. I write the letters and I ask them to draw a picture for Santa. I always tell them they can NOT get everyting on the list..it is just suggestions. If they really want something badly…we put a star next to it or make it #1 on the list.
The little mermaid CD would be a great gift. I love the songs..so to the kids, even my son.
The play kitchen set…a fantastic idea. My son..lol got one for his 2nd christmas. He loved it and played with it alot. got boared so I put it away. I took it out again for my daughter…they both played with alot..got boared again…put it away. then I took it out the next summmer and put it outside! They loved that. Dont forget to get the toy food.
Does she have a doll and stoller, a bed for her baby. Take a look at JcPenney.com…they have alot of good stuff…and look everywhere…sales, clearance as well as the girl toy section.
If you have “winters” a sleigh is a good idea, a small snow shovel.
My kids watched tv at your dd’s age. They had alot of the character toys but honestly…didn’t play with them mutch. They liked puzzles, playdoh, leapfrog stuff…the magnetic refridgerator magnets. the kitchen was a hit. My daughter loved little people play sets, and her doll house!!!!!
have a fantastic Christmas with your daughter and have fun shopping! Dont get stuck on the character themes. Maybe a dvd or two of her favorite shows.
If you have a Marshalls near by..go there! I get so many of my kids gifts there and..they have layaway(:

Also I was looking at getting my daughter this year (for her 2nd bday) a dora trike… If your daughter doesnt have one you can look into that? And maybe some matching knee pads and a helmet? 🙂
