Where can I get tickets for the New Year Parade?
I will be in Hong Kong for the Chinese New Year in 2009. Where can I buy tickets to watch the New Year parade? The Hong Kong Tourism authorities have not been helpful at all, and I have thus far had only one reply from a Hong Tour operator. This operator did not answer my question but tried to sell me a whole tour for something else. Guess who won’t be getting my business.

That’s funny that the Tourism Board hasn’t been of much help, they’re the one’s who sell the tickets for the grandstand seats at the parade. You might want to try them again. Better yet, go early and find a place to sit or stand along the parade route, it’s a better view and it won’t cost you anything. Have fun.
