    Christians should be making resolutions daily, not waiting until New Years. But without God’s hand, it’s helpless. Only the Holy Spirit within us molds us a makes us what we are to become.

    I am doing my best to stick to the eleventh commandment: love your brother as yourself, and love God above all. That’s sort of paraphrased but you get the idea!

    Any committment to give up sinful, harmful, self-destructive behavior would be good; so would a resolution to love others as Jesus loved them – with patience and kindness and humility; or perhaps a rededication of service to His church and His kingdom. Plenty of good choices… Happy New Year!!!

    The only suitable new year’s resolution for a true child of God would be to become more Christ-like.

    I would have to say to be more God like.To try to be more like Jesus,in what we do and say.Thats what I think anyway.

  10. Allegory said :

    Let grace be sufficient and of force, by flushing law as dung;
    since any amount of law makes grace no more grace,
    as any amount of death makes life non eternal.

    Christ is the end of the law, not mend of law.

    The end to endure unto to be saved(only) by grace(only)
    is evidently the end of law, and not the end of the world:
    The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
