What are some good halloween birthday parties for 13 year-old girls?

I’m having my 13th birthday in a few weeks and I need some good ideas! I’m planning to have it be Halloween themed. Are there any good Halloween related games or activities that would be fun but not childish? What about decorations? I don’t have enough time to do anything too elaborate… but I would like it to look nice. Can anyone help me out?

I did that theme a few years ago for my 12th birthday. everyone was in thier costumes and we had some scaryish/funny movies. we had candy in the shape of body parts like eye balls and giant pipe cleaner spiders everywhere. and the cake was shaped like a pumpkin. everyone took turns telling ghost stories in the dark. we had alot of fun.

For my 13th birthday I wanted something Halloween-ish, so I had a horror movie sleepover fest thingy with my friends (we watched The Ring 1 and 2, and The Unborn– we wasted a lot of time critiquing them x] ). But I’ve had Halloween parties in the past and a lot of the time it’s better to just have a loose plan and kind of let it fill itself out. Make sure that there’s good music (costumes are fun, too) and food.

One time I had a game where you took candy and soda and stuff that makes weird chemical reactions together and we pretended to make “potions” out of them. Each person had to drink one and pretend that it had a weird effect on them. I did it a while ago, so I’m not sure how fun it’d be for you, but my friends and I are messed up enough to still enjoy it now. x] Hope this helps.

You could have everyone come in costume and have awards for funniest/most creative/ cutest costume! Have halloween prizes.. LOTS of candy for the party! maybe have some halloween cupcakes or somehing.. idk haha.

you could have a dance party, or just have a bunch of scary movies playing and just have everyone hang out sometimes thats more fun than planned games. if it’s a sleepover with just girls, you could divide into groups and see who can pull the scariest prank, try to scare each other.

a good game if its boys and girls or just girls is a game called sardines. you turn out ALL the lights (pitch dark!) and basically play hide and seek, but you have to find people by feeling around in the dark. its fun and good for the halloween theme.

i hope this helped! happy birthday and happy halloween!
