I need the best tips to begin losing weight for the new year?

The new year just started and I need to lose a lot of weight. I just ate pizza today..My mother bought it. What a great way to start the new year.. My mother always buys unhealthy food and she knows I am going to eat it. I need to know not what to eat, like starch foods. How long and when to exercise. And everything…The only thing I got accustomed to doing is running around my pool table, it’s still exercising right? Can someone help me here?
