Has Thanksgiving become nothing more than a corporate celebration of the start of the shopping season?
From all of the ads and corporate ties in to Thanksgiving promoting sales today and tomorrow, it sure seems that way.

I think that in most cases yes, it has turned into a corporate holiday. You can’t cut on the Thursday football game today without being bombarded with sale commercials for Black Friday. It’s insane.
I personally try to ignore all that for a few minutes and give thanks on Thanksgiving– for everything that I’ve been blessed with. I find that this personal choice helps to offset how corporate Thanksgiving has become.
