Can I prepare my turkey the night before Thanksgiving?
Can I stuff my turkey the night before Thanksgiving so that I don’t have to wake up so early on Thanksgiving day? Is it safe (bacteria growth etc) to do so?

I would not suggest doing a stuffing at all, however that does not seem too safe. Depending on the size of your bird , it takes longer to cook with the stuffing in it. Now you can stuff it with herbs and fruits, the night before.

I doesn’t sound safe to me. I wouldn’t stuff it at all. Make a side of dressing.

It would probably be a better idea to stuff the turkey right before it goes into the oven. That way you can remove it from the refrigerator early and allow it to come to room temperature quickly. a room temperature roast tends to cook better and has less of a chance of drying out.
If dry meat is not a problem, then stuffing could certainly be done ahead of time, as long as the turkey is fully defrosted.

No, don’t do it. It can cause salmonella poisoning and has been known to kill families. You can get everything ready, and brine your bird the night before so it stays moist. Stuff it right before you put it in the oven for safety. Happy Thanksgiving.

no, it really is safest to cook the stuffing apart from the turkey. but it definitely would not be safe to stuff it the turkey the night before you cook it.

You should never stuff your turkey the night before cooking but you can make your stuffing the night before so that all you have to do is stuff and roast your turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

Its sae and the best tasting stuffing, just make it the night before and make sure the stuffing is cooled before putting it in the bird. very safe and delicious.
