Any room to haggle on Black Friday for big ticket items?

Hi, I was planning on buying several big ticket items from Lowes on Black Friday (refrigerator, range, washer dryer). Do you guys think there will be any room to haggle for such a purchase even if the prices are discounted already?

Can’t say what their store policy might be on that. What I can say is that stores in general are starting with bigger discounts this year than what they normally do, all retailers are anxious this year. The housing slump has caused a drop in demand for new appliances as well. That being the case, you may also have more leverage buying a fridge, washer, and dryer, than you would if you were only buying a dryer. If you bring that point up to the salesman, that you are buying multiple big ticket items, and ask nicely if they can do any better than what they are already doing, the worst they can say is no, it’s already on sale, or the salesman might be motivated to go “talk to the manager” and see if there is any further leeway on discretionary discounts. Good luck and happy hunting.
